Amal Jyothi College of Engineering
Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Autonomous, Kanjirapally holds the distinction of being the first engineering college in Kerala to obtain NAAC accreditation with A grade, (currently elevated to A+) and the first new-generation engineering college in the State to secure the prestigious NBA accreditation for its prime departments, with 7 programmes currently accredited. Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Amal Jyothi was conferred Autonomous status by the UGC on 6 July 2023 — a milestone that affirms the institution's academic rigour and governance maturity. The College has been affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Thiruvananthapuram since 2015, and was previously affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam during 2001–2014. Under the Kerala Institutional Ranking Framework (KIRF), AJCE is ranked 4th in the State in 2026 — a testament to sustained excellence across teaching, research, governance, and outreach.
