Admission for Govt.-allotted seats is through DTE Kerala. Management seats are filled directly by the institution. GATE score is normally mandatory; relaxation applies for Sponsored candidates and when seats remain vacant.

✅ General Eligibility — All M.Tech Programmes
- 1 Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
- 2 Qualifying Institution: Graduate course must be from an institution approved by AICTE or a Deemed University.
- 3 Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate in the Engineering Degree examination. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the degree is sufficient. For SEBC students, a minimum of 54% aggregate is mandatory.
- 4 AMIE / AMIETE Holders are eligible provided they have: (a) a valid GATE score, (b) minimum 55% marks in Section B of AMIE/AMIETE, and (c) at least 3 years of professional experience in the specialisation field after acquiring the qualifying degree.
- 5 Awaiting Final Results: Candidates who have appeared for the final semester may apply, provided they have passed all subjects up to and including the 6th semester (8th semester for B.Arch students). Admission is subject to production of the qualifying degree satisfying applicable conditions.
- 6 GATE Score: Admission is normally restricted to candidates with a valid GATE score. This requirement is relaxed for Sponsored candidates.
- 7 Vacancy Relaxation: If seats remain vacant due to insufficient GATE-qualified candidates, candidates from Kerala without a GATE score will be considered first, followed by candidates from other states.
