Cyberdome is a Centre of Excellence for Kerala Police, to meet the long term security challenges in the digital arena of the modern world, by bridging the gap between the latest changes and innovations in the cyber space and the skill set development of Kerala Police, in combating the emerging cyber threats. It is envisaged as a collaboration Centre for both the public and private fraternity to converge and share information, as well as resources, that will escalate the safety of our cyber space.
Kerala Police Cyberdome Project is a Public Private Partnership initiative of Kerala Police to provide cyber security, information security and cyber forensics. Kerala Police hopes to create a partnership with Amal Jyothi College of Engineering to allow Amal Jyothi College and staffs in assisting Kerala Police Cyberdome for cyber security related assignments on non-monetary basis.
This Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative will allow Kerala Police to tap into the vast and wide knowledgebase of experts and access to technology, process knowledge, industry standards and practices, and most importantly the availability of technical experts/cyber professionals in the areas of digital and information technology to who can assist the Police on various cyber and information technology related projects pertaining to policing.
