The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in 2001.
The first batch graduants of CSE department came out with wonderful results of 95% pass in the year 2005,which has been maintained throughout all these years.
The Growth of CSE started with U.G level B. Tech Degree single batch (45 students) which was increased to Two batches (90 students from) 2009 onwards. The two batch intake was again increased to 120 in 2013. The P.G course in Computer Science & Engineering started in 2011 with an intake of 18 students, increased to 24 in 2014.
The Department trains future educators, researchers and engineers through an intensely personal engagement in a set of research activities that span the development of fundamental knowledge about computational processes, the design of new computing systems and methods, and the creation of novel applications that benefit society at large. The emphasis on interdisciplinary research facilitates engagement with departments across the College and promotes novel uses of information technology across a wide range of disciplines.
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, with the highly qualified faculty members, is set to become a leading learning and research centre in the emerging domains of Computer Science & Engineering in the near future.
