Amal Jyothi Research Council (AJRC) functions as an advisory body to support the AJCE Management in the promotion and administration of all Research, Innovation, Consultancy Entrepreneurship and Extension activities of the College. The council is headed by Dean (Research) who convenes the meetings fortnightly with representatives from all departments.
AJCE aims to create a research environment that will promote a culture of high quality research that is ethical, competent, safe and accountable.
- Promote research activities of the College through submission of project proposals to various funding agencies.
- Guidance will be given to faculty members to prepare project proposals and to identify the funding agency
- Steps to promote faculty and student projects/proposals
- Collaborative research will be strengthened between institutions and industries
- Dissemination of information on project competitions, project funding
The Principal with the assistance of the AJRC will monitor the implementation of the Policy on Research at the College. At the Department level, the HoD will ensure that the Policy on Research is implemented among the relevant faculty and students.
Manager, Bursar, Principal, deans are the permanent members of the Council.
