About the Department
Mathematics · Physics · Chemistry
The Department of Basic Sciences at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering (Autonomous) has evolved and grown in methodology, research output and the diversity of research pursued since the college's inception. It is a supportive department — not offering a direct B.Tech or M.Tech programme of its own — but providing the foundational courses in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry that form the scientific backbone of every engineering discipline taught at AJCE.
The faculty comprises qualified, goal-oriented researchers whose expertise spans frontier areas in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The department actively conducts research, guides Ph.D scholars, publishes in peer-reviewed journals, hosts invited talks and workshops, and runs student-engagement activities through ICSFA departmental events.
